Teases
are done. My head feels like it’s about to explode. I’m playing catch up on all my school work, because I was live blogging all weekend.
Pressbox is filming in the studio and hogging master control, so graphics cannot be generated until they’re done. Jason is setting up live shot cams. I’m going to read for a while until Bri gets here to do graphics. I wonder where Mary is.

Backhanded remarks
Back at the hotel from a surprisingly warm and windy day at the CU South Campus tennis courts in Boulder. Documented a 6-1 win for the Texas women in the first of a two-match road trip. They head on to Missouri, while I hit the road in a few short hours back to Austin. Anything to keep that Pressbox funk alive.
Respect,
A

New Mexico: Where the world’s surplus neon signs go
I’m blogging to you LIVE from New Mexico, where the state flower is broken glass. I’m in my hotel room in the town of Clayton, 10 miles west of the Texas border. Tomorrow I drive the remaining distance to Denver where I bide my time until UT’s Friday afternoon tennis match in Boulder.
You see, over at TSTV Sports our content for CPB drops drastically in April once the basketball teams are done playing. With probably four shows to go, baseball/softball and spring football practice can only take us so far into an episode. What that means is, we’ve got to get out and cover the obscure stuff.
This is where I come in with my bottomless fuel budget and the need to escape school by weekend road tripping at least once a semester. How much material can I get out of 12 girls, 1 court? I’ll keep you posted.
Oh, and they’re predicting rain and snow for the drive up tomorrow. Fantastic.

It’s not over ’til it’s over…and it’s over.
I woke up this morning and filliped my television to channel 15. I forgot 24Seven is no more. I’m sure the guys that made it a point to really live there for a whole week are glad they get to sleep in their own bed, though.
I can’t believe I’ve been at TSTV for 4 years, back when it was still KVR TV (lol), and I still met some people I’d never seen before. Wow! I get that this could be a record breaking show, but it was also a wonderful way to bring the station together. It was less about news, sports, entertainment, and more about us as a station and being friendly.
I’m not really a social butterfly and I never thought I’d meet so many great people, get to know some of you better, and genuinely enjoy myself.
So thanks TSTV and 24Seven. I’m so glad this happened while I was here.
God, I now this is sappy, and you can tease me about it later, but I really mean it
