What is 24/Seven?

24seven is a RECORD SETTING* reality show that is being broadcast at the University of Texas’s TV Station-TSTV.There will be 15 students with 6 different cameras throughout the station with scattered microphones that will be turned on depending on the camera that is airingThe concept of the show is to see if 15 students can live at the Texas Student Television studios while conducting specific events in a Real World/Big Brother style with the following restrictions.

-Students can only leave the studios for class.

-Any food must be brought to the students via other students or delivery services.

-Everyday activities such as bathing, sleeping, and others must take place within the building.

Students will have opportunities to win prizes from various sponsors from everything from Gift Certificates to restaurants to electronics.

The event will gain attention as the studios are located on campus allowing students to pass by and have constant reminders of the event which will entice students to watch. TSTV is also taking this extreme marathon approach to brand awareness of TSTV at UT.
______________________________________________________________________________________
TSTV understands that students may have to leave for various reasons but intends to restrict the number of hours a student that is part of the actual 24seven event to leave.

All programming will be halted for the week and TSTV will be picked up on Public Access more often through the day so that a broader range of viewers can view the events.

TSTV will also launch another reality show formerly on the CW called Subtext in the middle of the week. In a very postmodern way TSTV will be launching a reality show in the middle of a reality show.
